For Children
Ingredients needed:
100 grams / 3.5 oz of raisins
150 grams / 5 oz of walnuts
100 grams / 3.5 oz of almonds
Rind of two lemons
Juice of two lemons
100 grams / 3.5 oz of dried apricots
100 grams / 3.5 oz of dried plums
250-300 ml / 8.5-10 oz of honey
Method of preparation:
Grind and mix the walnuts, almonds, raisins and lemon rinds. Add the lemon juice and the previously ground dried plums and apricots into this mixture as well. Finally add the honey and give the mixture a good stir. Transfer the content into a glass jar and let the jar stand still into dry and dark place for two days. After those two days, keep the jar into the fridge.
Children from 2 to 5 years of age should consume one tablespoon of this mixture before breakfast. Children older than 5 years should consume 2 tablespoons of this mixture before breakfast as well.
For Grownups
Ingredients needed:
200 grams / 7 oz of dried apricots
200 grams / 7 oz of dried plums
200 grams / 7 ozof dried figs
200 grams / 7 oz of walnuts
Rind of one lemon
Juice of one lemon
250 ml / 8 oz of honey
Method of preparation:
Grind or blend the dried fruits and lemon rind, add the lemon juice and stir. Put the mixture into glass jar and keep it in a dark and dry place for two days. After that, keep the jar in the fridge. Consume one tablespoon of this mixture before breakfast.
